It's Dead.... stop trying to ride it.
This may make a few people argue but here it is. Australian Sketch Comedy on any commercial network is dead. As a dodo.
Look we all enjoyed The Comedy Company, and Fast Forward when it was in its hey day, but its over. I can't understand why the commercial networks won't let it go. Take this for example. For God's sake, can't we let these guys retire. I mean Peter Moon for god's sake. The man was last funny in 1990. Stop making shows with him in it. I mean it.
As for Channel 9. Letting the Comedy Inc guys have another show. I think Derryn said it best.
Plus I am also still angry with Channel 9 screwing up the chance they had with Shaun Micallef.
Shame, Shame, Shame.
Andy: Couldn't agree more old chap. Mind you, I've not watched much sketch comedy since A Bit of Fry and Laurie. Supey Twist.
